Locks SIM card to phone

SIM cards can be locked to prevent them being used in other phones. Doing so protects against occasions SIM cards are recovered from locked phones and placed in others phones for continued use.


Why is it important?

SIM cards hold valuable information. Should a device be lost, they can be removed and placed into another device. By placing a lock on a SIM card, it means the data won't be able to be accessed without the set password.
